Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) are needed for the 2026-2027 academic year to deliver essential speech and language services onsite within a collaborative school environment. Key Qualifications:
Maryland SLP license required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFYs) will be considered Experience providing speech and language therapy in school-based settings is strongly desired Ability to work onsite at various school locations; please include your ZIP code in your application for assignment purposes Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Strong commitment to supporting student success in a diverse academic environment
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and direct treatment of speech-language disorders for K-12 students across different schools Collaborate closely with teachers, other therapists, and support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on improving communication and academic outcomes Monitor and document student progress, completing all necessary records, reports, and compliance documentation Participate in meetings with families, staff, and multidisciplinary teams to discuss student progress and adjust intervention plans as needed Travel between multiple assigned school locations as part of the role This contract begins August 10, 2026, and runs through June 9, 2027, with a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours.
