Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic school-based Speech-Language Pathologist role serving multiple elementary sites near Frederick, MD. This full-time contract opportunity runs from October 1 through June 4, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on students' communication success throughout the academic year. Working Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., you'll provide services for a caseload of 35-45 elementary students, collaborating closely with educators and support teams. Enjoy the chance to diversify your experience by impacting students across different schools in a supportive and professional environment.

Key Qualifications:

Current Maryland SLP license ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Experience in a school setting with elementary populations preferred Strong collaborative, interpersonal, and communication skills Commitment to evidence-based therapy practices and student-centered care

Primary Responsibilities:

Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech-language needs Deliver direct therapy services in both individual and group settings Work with teachers, families, and IEP teams to support student development Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports Contribute to IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and strategies Perks of this
