Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This contract opportunity is for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) to support elementary schools in the Frederick, MD area. Two positions are available to assist with increased caseloads, starting as soon as possible through June 5th. Both full-time and part-time schedules are offered to accommodate your availability.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred Experience working in school settings, particularly elementary schools Ability to manage and support a diverse caseload of students requiring speech and language services
Responsibilities:
Provide speech-language evaluations, therapy, and progress monitoring to students in elementary schools Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers Document sessions and maintain compliance with school district policies and state regulations Communicate effectively with school staff and parents to ensure student progress
