Job Description

Category Schools - SLP - Telespeech Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in telespeech and teletherapy services within a school setting in Gaithersburg, MD. This role serves students primarily in elementary and middle school within the Eastern Standard Time zone. Key responsibilities include providing teletherapy sessions to a caseload that may range from approximately 40 to 57 students throughout the academic year. The caseload will be tailored according to experience, comfort level, and location, with initial student numbers being lower at the start of the school year. Work hours total 35 per week, offered on a part-time basis of three full days.
Qualifications and experience requirements:
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field Active Maryland SLP licensure Minimum of three years of virtual school-based experience post-COVID, with at least two years within the last five years Ability to work within the EST time zone Successful completion of a technical screening interview Compliance with state credentialing, including House Bill background check Additional prerequisites include submission of a current resume, images of licensure, and professional references. Interview processes will assess professional suitability before final placement.
