Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to support high school students for the 2026/2027 school year. This full-time, contract opportunity focuses on a small caseload, ensuring each student receives individualized attention and care. You'll serve in a collaborative school setting near Lutherville Timonium, MD, working with dedicated colleagues who share your commitment to student progress and communication development.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state licensure/certification as an SLP (CCC or CFY welcome) Prior school-based SLP experience preferred, especially with high school populations Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative speech-language services for a small caseload of high school students Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with teachers and families Track student progress and maintain accurate records for compliance Collaborate with faculty, staff, and families to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment Participate in team meetings, professional development, and interdisciplinary activities as needed You'll be able to truly impact your students, thanks to the manageable caseload and supportive team atmosphere.
