Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in students' lives during the 26/27 school year in a dynamic high school environment, focusing on a manageable caseload as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). This full-time opportunity invites you to provide specialized support, helping students achieve their communication goals while working alongside a dedicated educational team.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid SLP licensure and certification for work in schools Previous experience serving high school-aged students preferred Strong knowledge of speech and language assessment tools Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Commitment to supporting diverse learners in an inclusive setting
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language services to high school students based on IEPs Conduct assessments, create treatment plans, and monitor progress Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student growth Attend meetings and provide input on student needs and progress Maintain organized records and documentation in compliance with school requirements Employ evidence-based interventions tailored to individual student needs Foster a welcoming, supportive therapy environment
