Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting young learners this upcoming school year! This full-time position spans August through December, providing coverage during a maternity leave at the elementary school level. Make a meaningful impact on students' communication and language development as a vital member of a dedicated educational team. Your expertise will empower children to reach their full potential during these formative months. As a valued school-based Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll collaborate with teachers and specialists while managing a manageable elementary caseload.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Hold (or be eligible for) state licensure as an
SLP ASHA
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or strong clinical fellowship candidates considered Prior experience in a public-school setting preferred, especially at the elementary level Ability to create IEPs, deliver engaging therapy sessions, and maintain strong communication with families and staff Exceptional organizational skills and adaptability for a dynamic school environment
Key Responsibilities:
Provide assessment, diagnosis, and individualized treatment for students' speech and language needs Develop and implement IEP goals and track student progress Collaborate with classroom teachers and related service providers to facilitate student success Participate in team meetings and contribute to the school community Support families with resources and updates on student development
