Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought to provide specialized support to K-12 students within a Maryland school setting. This position is designed for professionals who are dedicated to enhancing students' speech, language, and communication abilities to promote success both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and evaluations. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education program (IEP) goals tailored to student needs. Deliver direct therapy services as well as consultative support. Collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and IEP teams to ensure cohesive student support. Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
Qualifications:
Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist license. Certification from the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) or eligibility to obtain certification. Experience in school or pediatric settings is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
Position Details:
Located in Oxon Hill, Maryland. Contract-based role with full-time and part-time positions available. Responsibilities include servicing a K-12 caseload. On-site presence required to provide hands-on support and collaboration.
