The focus is on supporting students with diverse communication needs to enhance their academic success and social interactions. As a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in assessment, intervention, and collaboration within the school community.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and evaluations for K-12 students Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals tailored to student needs Deliver direct therapy services and offer consultative support to students Collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and IEP teams to support student progress Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
Qualifications:
Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist license Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) Certification or eligibility for certification Experience in school or pediatric settings preferred, though not mandatory Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work within multidisciplinary teams
Position Details:
