Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact this school year by providing essential speech and language services to elementary students on a full-time contract basis. This opportunity is ideal for a speech-language pathologist seeking a rewarding role supporting young learners during a maternity leave, covering August through December. You'll collaborate with dedicated educational teams, tailor interventions, and help students reach their full communication potential.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred Strong communication and collaboration abilities Ability to manage documentation efficiently and maintain compliance with all relevant regulations
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students Evaluate, assess, and document student progress Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in coordination with teachers and other specialists Maintain ongoing communication with families and educators to support student success Attend meetings as required to review goals, progress, and recommendations for student support Enjoy working in an engaging educational setting with a manageable caseload, a structured full-time schedule, and the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of students as they develop crucial language and social skills.
