What they do

A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Pediatric Speech Lab (PSL) is looking for a compassionate, energetic, and dedicated PRN Speech-Language Pathologist to join our in-clinic team from October through December . This is a great opportunity for an SLP who wants to pick up additional hours, supplement another position, gain more pediatric experience, or enjoy a flexible schedule while making a meaningful difference in the lives of children. What You'll Do As a PRN SLP at Pediatric Speech Lab, you will provide individualized, in-person speech and language services to pediatric clients while working alongside a collaborative clinical team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Provide engaging, individualized speech and language therapy in our clinic Complete assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Monitor and document each child's progress Collaborate with families, BCBAs, RBTs, SLPs, and other clinical team members Provide parent education and support Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Participate in clinical meetings and team collaboration as needed Use evidence-based practices to support each child's communication goals Help create a positive, encouraging, and fun clinic environment Why Pediatric Speech Lab? What We're Looking For Required:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field CCC-SLP Appropriate Maryland licensure Strong communication and organizational skills Passion for working with children and families Commitment to ethical, compassionate, and evidence-based care
Highly Preferred:
Pediatric experience Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team
