9659002-03901 Job Description Make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners by supporting a small caseload of 4th and 5th graders as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist in a contract position. This rewarding opportunity is ideal for candidates who are passionate about helping children enhance their communication skills and thrive in a supportive educational environment. With an immediate start and assignment set to conclude in late December, youll work one day a week (6 hours) supporting approximately nine studentsgiving you the chance to focus on individualized progress and quality care.
Ideal Qualifications:
Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC or CFY accepted) Previous experience in pediatric or school-based SLP roles preferred Comfortable managing small group and individualized caseloads Experience and/or interest in teletherapy a plus Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy targeting speech, language, and communication needs Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students IEP goals and generalization of skills Maintain accurate records and progress reports per district standards Participate in IEP meetings and help shape educational plans for each student Utilize teletherapy platforms if needed to connect with students and families Youll be valued for your specialized skills and dedication on a manageable caseload, allowing you to see the true impact of your expertise.
