Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Active Maine Speech Language Pathologist License Maine Educator Certification SLP-CCC or experience in school-based settings preferred Experience supporting students who use or need AAC devices Excellent communication and collaborative skills
What You'll Be Doing:
Deliver speech and language therapy services to a diverse K-12 caseload Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to student needs Assess, recommend, and help integrate AAC systems into classroom and therapy settings Document progress, maintain IEPs, and communicate regularly with educators and caregivers Work alongside teachers, fellow therapists, and support staff to create inclusive learning environments Participate in team meetings to share insight and collaborate on student success
