Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an exciting opportunity to support middle school students during an important phase of the academic year as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). This maternity leave contract is set in a warm, collaborative school environment where your expertise will make a genuine difference from August through mid-November. As an SLP in this position, you'll be an integral part of the educational team, serving students who benefit from your communication and language support. The full-time schedule ensures you are present for day-to-day learning moments and can establish meaningful connections with students and staff alike.
Desired Background & Licensure:
Valid SLP-CCC credential Previous experience with middle school aged students Familiarity with school-based IEPs and collaborative team models Strong communication skills—verbal and written Ability to adapt to various learning styles and needs Flexibility to manage dynamic school schedules
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments and progress monitoring Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students Collaborate with educators, parents, and other support staff to build comprehensive student support plans Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions Maintain thorough, compliant documentation Perks of the
