Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding adventure as a Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting students across a dynamic district near Caribou, ME. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity allows you to have a meaningful impact in educational settings, providing district wide services. Whether you hold your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or are completing your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), you'll have the chance to work with a diverse pediatric population and grow your professional skills alongside passionate educators. Qualifications and Experience Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active Maine SLP license (or eligibility)
ASHA CCC
preferred, but CFY candidates encouraged to apply Demonstrated experience or strong interest in working with school-aged children Familiarity with the IEP process and school-based documentation Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills Compassion and dedication to helping students succeed Primary Responsibilities Provide speech, language, and communication therapy to students district wide Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for speech and language disorders Participate in IEP meetings, write reports, and contribute to team-based solutions Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists Develop strategies and materials to support students' communication needs in the classroom Engage in professional development and stay current with best practices in the field This full-time, onsite contract allows you to work within a supportive educational community, impact student progress, and enjoy the variety of serving multiple schools.
