Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting middle school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist this coming academic year. This full-time position offers the chance to make a direct and meaningful impact, covering a maternity leave from August through mid-November. Utilize your expertise and passion for helping young learners communicate with confidence—all while gaining valuable experience in a collaborative, positive setting.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain prior to the start date Recent experience providing SLP services in a school or pediatric setting preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct therapy to middle school students with a variety of speech and language needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success Conduct assessments, maintain thorough progress documentation, and participate in IEP meetings as required Foster a compassionate, student-centered environment that promotes growth and self-confidence Enjoy the unique fulfillment of supporting students during a pivotal developmental period, working alongside dedicated educators and families to create lasting change.
