Job Description

Part-Time Speech Language Pathologist Hyperion Language and Learning Services is looking to expand our team by adding another speech language pathologist. This fee-for-service position will provide the flexibility to design your own schedule and the opportunity to join a wonderfully caring team of educators in a super supportive environment. Hyperion Language and Learning Services' mission is to help driven students who are experiencing anxiety and frustration due to academic struggles learn the skills they need to be happy, confident, life-long learners. The SLP will support the development of each student's speech, oral language, written language, and literacy skills through assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
Responsibilities would include:
Providing speech-language therapy services in our offices located in Kennebunk, ME as well as virtually and potentially in local schools Accurately document treatment sessions Design and implement therapeutic goals and objectives appropriate to challenges identified in formal evaluations Educate and counsel families and educational teams regarding treatment plans and progress Ideal candidates would be trained in DIR floortime, Lindamood Bell LiPS, Lindamood Bell Seeing Stars, Lindamood Bell Visualizing and Verbalizing and be interested in working with children ages 3-18.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Education:
Master of Arts, Science, or Education degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program and completion of Clinical Fellowship Year.
License/Certifications:
State of Maine licensure as Speech Language Pathologist.
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence Experience:
One year of full time equivalent experience in pediatric speech-language pathology
