Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid SLP license (state certification required prior to start) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Experience working with children in a school-based environment preferred Strong assessment, intervention, and communication skills Comfort managing a diverse K-12 caseload Excellent documentation and time management abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for students in K-12th grade Craft and implement individualized treatment plans, collaborating with teachers and educational specialists Participate in eligibility, IEP meetings, and multidisciplinary team discussions Maintain thorough documentation of student progress, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations Communicate effectively with families and caregivers regarding goals and strategies Provide consultation and support to school staff to foster inclusive learning environments
