Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact on student growth and communication skills by providing speech-language services in a supportive educational setting. This full-time contract opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year and involves working with a diverse K-12 student population. As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), you'll play a vital role in fostering a collaborative and positive learning environment.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Experience in a school-based setting, particularly with K-12th grade students, is highly valued Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage students, families, and educators effectively Familiarity with a variety of assessment tools and intervention strategies Ability to create individualized education plans (IEPs) and manage documentation Collaborative approach to working within multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities and Duties:
Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide direct therapy services to students in grades K-12 Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to development and monitoring of student goals Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to create supportive strategies for each student Maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with school and state requirements Offer counseling and support to students and their families concerning speech and communication challenges Enjoy a dynamic, impactful role where every day brings the opportunity to encourage student progress and build lasting professional relationships.
