Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Located in South Portland, ME, this contract position offers the opportunity to provide specialized speech-language pathology services through telespeech to school-aged students. This role is designed for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) experienced in delivering remote therapy sessions to support students' communication development and academic success. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive evaluations, implementing individualized therapy plans, and collaborating with educators and families to monitor student progress via telehealth platforms. The position demands maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to all relevant professional and ethical standards.
Desired qualifications and experience:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification and licensure to practice Proven experience in delivering speech therapy via telepractice modalities Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders commonly seen in school-age children Ability to engage and motivate students in a virtual setting Excellent communication and organizational skills Familiarity with educational systems and the ability to collaborate effectively with educational staff This contract role provides a flexible work environment with the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' communication abilities through innovative virtual services.
