Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting a district wide program near Presque Isle, ME. This full-time, onsite contract position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively across multiple school sites, serving students within a rewarding and supportive educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Hold or be eligible for SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP); SLP-CFY applicants are also encouraged to apply Active (or eligible) state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based SLP services Demonstrated ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic speech, language, and communication services to district students in preschool through high school Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with each student's unique needs and IEP goals Assess, monitor, and document student progress in compliance with federal and state regulations Participate in IEP meetings, providing clear input on student needs and present levels of performance Consult regularly with teachers, staff, and families to ensure continuity of care and maximize student success Provide guidance and mentorship to SLP-CFYs, if applicable This role offers you the chance to make a district-wide impact, utilizing your SLP expertise to inspire student growth and achievement.
