2026-2027 We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a school district in Rumford, Maine, for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time opportunity is ideal for an SLPA who enjoys working with students and supporting their communication development in a collaborative educational setting.

Student Population:

K-12 Responsibilities Provide speech-language therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. Implement treatment plans and therapy activities designed to support students' communication goals. Document student progress and maintain accurate service records. Prepare therapy materials and assist with scheduling and organization. Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student success. Follow district policies and applicable state regulations regarding SLPA practice. Qualifications Current Maine Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license or eligibility, as required by state regulations. Associate's or bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant studies, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field. School-based or pediatric experience is preferred but not required. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
