Rumford, ME Soliant has an opening for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) with a school district near Rumford, Maine. This full-time, school-based opportunity offers the chance to help students strengthen their communication skills while working alongside a supportive team of educators and related service providers. Responsibilities:

Provide speech and language therapy services to students based on individualized needs Conduct evaluations and assessments (SLP only) and assist with treatment planning Implement therapy goals outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance records

Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational and time management abilities Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff Collaborative and student-focused approach to therapy

Qualifications:

Active Maine SLP license or Maine SLPA authorization (or eligibility) Soliant offers licensing assistance if needed ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred for SLP applicants School-based experience preferred but not required

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field, as required by the state of

Maine Experience:

Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply

Work Hours:
