Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling role supporting students across kindergarten through 6th grade as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist. Your expertise will make a meaningful difference in a school environment where each student's communication and learning needs are valued. This contract position begins August 24th and offers about 20 hours per week (with some flexibility). Direct, on-site service is required—providing you a welcoming school setting and the chance to collaborate closely with students and educators alike. Key experience and skills that make you a great fit: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current or eligible SLP licensure in Maine ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status School-based or pediatric SLP experience preferred Strong interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and educational teams Confident in IEP development and progress monitoring Able to adapt interventions for diverse learning styles Your responsibilities will include: Providing evaluations and evidence-based therapy for a caseload of 8-10 students Serving as a collaborative partner with teachers and families to develop and track progress on IEPs Delivering direct support and consultation for PreK-6th grade students in a variety of school settings Maintaining detailed documentation and reports to support student growth Participating in team meetings and professional development as needed Take the next step in your career and make a real difference for young learners.
