Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic role supporting middle school students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for an exciting full-time assignment spanning August through mid-November. In this maternity leave position, you'll collaborate with dedicated educators and families, making a positive contribution during a pivotal time of the academic year.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) State licensure as required for practice Experience working in a school-based setting, preferably middle school Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and adjust quickly to new environments
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders Deliver direct therapy services in both group and individual settings Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to support student success Participate in IEP meetings and document student progress Adapt therapy strategies to accommodate diverse learning needs and schedules Maintain thorough, compliant records and uphold confidentiality at all times
