Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Take on a rewarding contract opportunity as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students across all grade levels. This full-time onsite role offers the chance to provide direct speech and language services throughout multiple school settings in the district. Collaborate with educators, families, and a supportive special education team to enhance student communication skills and foster a nurturing, inclusive learning environment.
Key Qualifications:
Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants welcome Experience working with pediatric populations, especially within school settings Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Commitment to serving a diverse student populationPrimary Responsibilities:
Provide assessments, diagnostics, and evidence-based speech and language therapy services to students district-wide Design individualized intervention plans tailored to each student's unique needs Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, and administrators on multidisciplinary teams Participate actively in IEP meetings, contribute to progress reports, and support documentation requirements Deliver a continuum of services including direct therapy, classroom-based support, and consultation with staff and families Adapt intervention strategies to align with student goals and cultural backgrounds Enjoy the professional fulfillment that comes from making a measurable difference in students' lives.
