Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students through the full school year near Allegan, MI. We're seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist ready to provide high-quality speech and language services in a collaborative educational setting. This full-time position follows the school calendar, with a start at the beginning of the academic year and commitment through the end.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active SLP license in Michigan (or eligibility) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Experience providing speech and language services in school settings preferred Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills Passion for supporting diverse student populations and individualized learning goalsKey Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy for students with a variety of needs as part of their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Conduct assessments, create and maintain documentation, and monitor student progress Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop targeted interventions Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to planning for student success Offer guidance to teachers and school staff on strategies for communication support in the classroom Provide direct and consultative support for students across grade levels This contract role offers consistent daytime scheduling, Monday through Friday, with 37.5 hours per week during the academic year.
