We are partnered with a supportive district in Allen Park, MI seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This role supports students across three school settings with a primarily elementary caseload and a well-established team structure. Position Overview This role serves approximately 50 students across three school sites, including elementary, early childhood, and a K-12 building (primarily elementary students). The primary caseload is based at an elementary campus supporting 4th and 5th grade students, including one self-contained classroom with several AAC users. Additional support is provided across two partner school sites within the district. This is a well-established caseload with the current SLP retiring, allowing for a smooth transition into the role. The district has a strong collaborative special education team and a total of 5 SLPs across the district. What You'll Do Provide direct speech-language therapy services across three school buildings Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Support students with a range of communication needs, including AAC users Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Maintain documentation, progress monitoring, and compliance through IEP systems Participate in district collaboration and team meetings District Highlights Established caseload with retiring clinician transition Supportive team of 5 SLPs in the district Strong collaboration across special education teams High population of ELL students (Spanish and Arabic speaking) with interpreter support available Dedicated private office space at primary site (with AC) Recently renovated elementary campus Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders Active or eligible Michigan SLP license (LARA)
