Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Exciting opportunity for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist passionate about working with students in a school-based setting! This contract position is perfect for professionals eager to make a meaningful impact during a maternity leave coverage from August through October. You'll work closely with a diverse pediatric population, collaborating with teachers and support staff to foster communication skills and help students thrive academically and socially. Candidates with any level of experience are encouraged to apply, including those with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) as well as Clinical Fellows (CFY). Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field Current or pending state licensure as an SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong consideration for Clinical Fellows (CFY) Prior experience working in schools or with pediatric populations Strong interpersonal, organization, and communication skills Ability to adapt to new environments and quickly build rapport with students and staff Key responsibilities include: Conducting speech and language assessments and developing individualized therapy plans Delivering direct intervention services to students, both individually and in groups Collaborating with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student needs Documenting progress and maintaining accurate records in compliance with school and legal requirements Participating in IEP meetings and contributing expertise to student support teams You'll have the opportunity to enrich students' lives while furthering your professional experience.
