Elementary Middle School Speech Therapist in Ann Arbor, MI Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Ann Arbor, MI Job Details Contract 1 day ago Qualifications Master's degree in speech-language pathology (SLP) Master's degree Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Speech-Language Pathology License Full Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a positive impact on students' lives by providing speech-language pathology services across early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school settings. This rewarding contract opportunity is available for the current school year, with the possibility of continuing into the next school year based on performance. This role is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist ready to serve a diverse student population and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. You'll have the opportunity to support students' communication skills, social development, and academic achievement in a vibrant, educational environment.
Qualifications:
Active Michigan SLP license is required ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is mandatory Experience working in school-based settings preferred Comfortable providing therapy across all grade levels (early childhood through high school) Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills Ability to work independently as well as with a team of educators and specialists
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive screenings, evaluations, and assessments of students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and families Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy in accordance with each student's IEP Monitor progress and maintain accurate, timely records Participate in team meetings, IEP reviews, and parent conferences as needed Offer support and guidance to educational staff regarding speech, language, and communication strategies
