A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Position:
School-Based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location:
Brighton, MI Pay Rate:
Starting at $50 per hour (based on experience)
Shift:
School-Based, Full-Time Description:
Birch Agency is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide school-based services in Brighton, Michigan , supporting an elementary caseload for the 2026-27 school year. This is an excellent opportunity for an SLP who enjoys working with younger learners in a collaborative school setting.
Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy services to early childhood and elementary students Conduct evaluations, assessments, and progress monitoring Develop and implement IEP goals and treatment plans Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation
Qualifications:
Active Michigan Speech Language Pathologist license ASHA CCCs preferred School-based or pediatric experience preferred Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
