What We're Looking For:
Valid Michigan Professional License in Speech-Language Pathology and MDE Educator Certification (LARA and MDE required) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience in a school-based setting working with K-12 students Background in evaluating and treating communication disorders, specifically with mild-to-moderate needs Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals Flexibility to interview after 2:30 PM this Friday or after 11:00 AM on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Friday next week
What Youll Do:
Deliver speech-language therapy services to a diverse K-12 caseload in a supportive onsite environment Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs Conduct thorough assessments and provide evidence-based interventions Collaborate with educators and support staff to foster student success Document progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings
