Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Travel A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with experience in school settings is needed for an Extended School Year (ESY) assignment starting June 1st. This travel position is located in Clawson, Michigan, serving a very small district with multiple buildings conveniently located within 1-2 miles of each other. The caseload primarily focuses on early childhood age groups, with some K-12 students as well.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech-language therapy services to students during the ESY program. Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in children. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and families. Maintain thorough documentation of therapy sessions and student progress. Communicate effectively with educators, parents, and administrative staff.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or in a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) program. Experience working as an SLP in school settings. Familiarity with early childhood and K-12 student populations. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to travel and work across multiple nearby school buildings.
