The ideal candidate will work with students of all ages, in a school setting, to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders. This role is vital in helping individuals improve their communication skills and overall quality of life through tailored therapeutic interventions. Duties Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication abilities. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and specific needs. Implement evidence-based speech therapy techniques to facilitate improvement in communication skills. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support patient progress. Provide early intervention services for children with speech and language delays. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes. Educate patients and families on strategies to enhance communication skills at home. Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in speech pathology. Requirements Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field. Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Pathologist. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and pediatric care. Experience in providing speech therapy in school settings is preferred. Excellent patient assessment skills with the ability to develop effective treatment plans. Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues. Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and early intervention services.
