Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact by supporting early learners as a contract speech-language pathologist for the upcoming school years. This onsite opportunity focuses on serving an early childhood/preschool population, fostering vital communication skills in young students. You'll play a critical role in helping children thrive in an educational setting dedicated to growth and development.

Desired Skills & Experience:

Current SLP licensure, with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Prior experience in a school setting, especially with early childhood or preschool populations, highly preferred Expertise in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders Strong collaboration skills for working with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Commitment to evidence-based practices and ongoing professional development Excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities Ability to commit to an onsite contract through June 2027

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments to evaluate speech and language needs of young students Develop and implement individualized therapy plans, utilizing creative and engaging strategies tailored to early learners Provide direct and consultative services within the classroom and one-on-one settings Track student progress, maintain thorough documentation, and contribute to IEP meetings Serve as a resource to parents, staff, and fellow team members regarding communication supports and intervention strategies Foster an inclusive, positive environment to encourage early student growth and success This is a full-time, onsite role (37.5 hours per week) allowing you to devote focused attention to a single preschool program.
