Speech Language Pathologist in Ecorse, MI Soliant - 3.9 Ecorse, MI Job Details Full-time | Contract 9 hours ago Qualifications Speech-Language Pathology License Full Job Description Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Embark on a rewarding role as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting K-12 students for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time, onsite contract position offers the opportunity to help children thrive in educational settings, providing essential services in a supportive environment. Ideal candidates are dedicated professionals passionate about making a positive impact in the school community and ensuring students reach their communication milestones.
Qualifications:
Active Michigan SLP license required Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Previous experience in school-based settings is preferred Ability and willingness to work onsite (virtual opportunities are not available) Experience with diverse student populations across K-12 is highly valued Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students in K-12 Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and maintain detailed progress records Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student goals Attend and participate in IEP meetings as required Provide consultation and training for school personnel to implement effective communication strategies Adapt therapy methods and materials to meet diverse student needs Maintain compliance with state and district reporting requirements This position begins in August 2026 and continues through June 25, 2027.
