Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students from 3rd to 12th grade as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This role runs from August 19, 2026, through June 9, 2027, and offers a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours (typically 7:50am - 2:25pm, with some flexibility based on school needs). You'll work alongside a multidisciplinary team dedicated to enhancing communication skills and educational outcomes for students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid SLP license for the state Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome Experience in a K-12 educational setting preferred, especially with grades 3-12 Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Ability to develop individualized therapy plans and document progress effectively
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and screenings to identify speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders Create and implement individualized education and therapy plans in collaboration with educators and parents Deliver direct therapy services to students, both one-on-one and in group settings Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning Track and maintain accurate records of student progress, assessments, and interventions Offer guidance and support to teachers and families for carryover of techniques in classroom and home environments
