The ideal candidate will assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech and language disorders, working collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals to support the communication needs of our students. This full-time position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and help them achieve their full potential. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students' speech and language abilities. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs. Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders in both individual and group settings. Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support students' communication goals. Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Provide training and resources to school staff on strategies to support students with communication challenges. Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals. Stay current with research and best practices in speech and language pathology. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state regulations. Advocate for students' communication needs and promote awareness of speech and language disorders within the school community. Requirements Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Valid state licensure as a Speech and Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred. Experience working with children in a school setting is highly desirable. Strong understanding of speech and language development, disorders, and assessment techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, families, and staff. Ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans and strategies. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry trends. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
