Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026/2027 school year. This important role involves providing overflow services across two elementary buildings, collaborating closely with the existing full-time and part-time SLPs. You will help ensure that all speech and language needs are met, making a significant impact on students' academic and social success.
Key Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC certification Prior experience working within school settings, preferably with elementary-aged students Proficiency in evaluation, intervention, and IEP documentation for diverse student populations Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills Ability to adapt therapy style to meet the needs of various caseloads and collaborate with school staff
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students as assigned Assess students, develop individualized treatment plans, and participate in IEP meetings Maintain thorough records and progress documentation in compliance with school and state requirements Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to promote effective strategies in the classroom Contribute positively within the existing SLP team and broader school community This part-time contract is scheduled for three days per week, following the school day from 8:44 AM to 3:40 PM, starting August 18th, 2026, through June 11th, 2027.
