Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful contract opportunity as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist serving students from PreK through 12th grade for the full 2026-2027 school year. Bring your expertise and compassion to a dynamic educational setting, making a lasting impact on learners' communication skills. This assignment runs from August 24th through June 11th and offers a consistent schedule of 35 hours per week, supporting a manageable caseload of 50 students. Your passion for fostering growth in children and adolescents will shine as you collaborate with school teams, families, and students to deliver comprehensive speech and language services. Whether you hold your CCC or are working toward your CFY, your skills will be valued as you help students achieve their individualized educational goals.
Desired Qualifications:
Holds a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current, valid SLP license in Michigan (or eligibility to obtain) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply Prior experience in a school setting preferred, though strong clinical backgrounds are also welcomed Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy services to a diverse caseload of 50 students Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with educational teams Conduct assessments and comprehensive evaluations for students in need Maintain accurate student records and prepare progress reports Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student success Engage in a rewarding role where your clinical knowledge helps students communicate more effectively and thrive throughout their academic journey.
