Category Schools - SLP Job Type Travel A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year, focusing on pediatric caseloads in a dynamic school setting. This travel position is perfect for a licensed SLP ready to provide high-quality therapy services in educational environments.
Location:
Howell, Michigan (Travel Assignment)
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to students across a range of pediatric disorders Conduct evaluations, assessments, and progress monitoring in compliance with school guidelines Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals Maintain accurate documentation and treatment plans aligned with educational and clinical standards Participate actively in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings and school-related activities
Qualifications:
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) with pediatric experience Valid licensure as an SLP with school setting experience preferred Strong understanding of pediatric speech and language development as it applies to schools Ability to travel and adapt to new educational settings effectively Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills This role provides the opportunity to work full-time throughout the school year with a focus on supporting children's communication in educational contexts.
