Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to support early childhood students on a part-time contract basis. The assignment begins as soon as possible and runs through December, offering a set schedule of 8 hours per week—ideal for those seeking flexibility and valuable school-based experience.
Key Qualifications:
Possess or be eligible for a valid Speech-Language Pathology license Accepting SLPs with CCC or those completing their CFY year Previous experience working in school settings or with early childhood populations is highly valued Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, caregivers, and educational teams Dedication to fostering growth and overcoming communication barriers in young children
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for early childhood students Provide direct speech and language therapy in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to maximize each child's progress Maintain thorough and accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise on speech and language development This flexible, part-time schedule makes it possible to balance your professional goals with personal commitments, while gaining valuable experience in a supportive educational environment.
