Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Take the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of elementary students as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year. This contract role provides specialized support across two elementary schools in a welcoming educational community. Your expertise will help manage overflow caseloads, working alongside dedicated on-site SLP professionals while bringing your own unique skills to the team.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Licensed or eligible for licensure as an SLP in Michigan Previous school-based experience and familiarity with IEPs preferred Strong organizational skills and ability to balance priorities across multiple settings Excellent communication and collaboration skills
What You'll Do:
Provide speech, language, and communication services to students in two elementary buildings Assess students' communication abilities and develop individualized treatment plans Deliver direct and consultative therapy in accordance with students' IEPs Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports Participate in IEP meetings, interdisciplinary team discussions, and professional development This part-time opportunity requires 3 days a week from 8:44 AM to 3:40 PM, ensuring a balanced schedule while making a big impact.
