Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into an enriching part-time contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year. This position involves collaborating with existing SLPs to provide overflow services at two elementary campuses, ensuring every student's communication needs are met. Key Qualifications:
Valid and current Speech-Language Pathology license (CCC required) Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred Familiarity with IEP processes and compliance best practices Strong communication and teamwork abilities Commitment to fostering positive outcomes for elementary-aged students
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy and intervention, primarily as overflow support Collaborate with resident SLPs to manage caseloads across two elementary schools Assess, document, and monitor student progress toward therapy goals Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams Communicate effectively with staff members, educators, and families Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards at all times This contract role is structured as part-time, requiring your expertise three days per week, with workdays from 8:44 AM to 3:40 PM—designed to support an excellent work-life balance while maintaining consistent student support.
