Job Summary:
As a Speech Therapist (SLP), you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with communication disorders, speech impediments, and swallowing difficulties. You will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adults, and elderly individuals, to help them improve their speech and language skills and enhance their overall quality of life.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Conducting thorough assessments to identify speech and language disorders Developing individualized treatment plans to address clients' specific needs Providing therapy sessions to improve clients' speech, language, and communication abilities Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for clients Monitoring clients' progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed Educating clients and their families on strategies to support speech and language development at home Keeping detailed records of clients' treatment and progress
Qualifications and Skills:
