9644212-49120 Job Description Step into a rewarding part-time, in-person contract opportunity supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade with speech and language needs. This role is ideal for CCC-SLPs or Clinical Fellows passionate about making a difference in pediatric school settings. As a valued member of a multidisciplinary team, you'll address communication challenges for students, helping them reach their academic and personal goals throughout the school year.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in Michigan is required CCC-SLP credential or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year Experience or strong interest in working with K-12 students Competency in evaluation, treatment, and documentation for pediatric or school-based caseloads Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other school professionals
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions in-person Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes Work closely with teachers and families to support student progress and generalization of skills Serve as an active participant in IEP meetings and student planning Adapt services to meet each student's unique needs, ensuring compliance with school and state guidelines
