Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist serving elementary students in a supportive educational environment near Lake Orion, MI. This part-time position allows you to make a real impact during the 2026-2027 school year, partnering with established SLP teams to provide overflow coverage. Enjoy a balanced schedule with three weekdays on campus, working alongside experienced colleagues in two welcoming elementary buildings.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Hold a valid SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Proven experience in school-based speech-language pathology Strong collaboration skills to partner with SLPs at multiple sites Excellent organization and adaptability in a dynamic educational setting Passion for supporting elementary students' communication growth
Role Responsibilities:
Provide targeted speech and language services in two elementary schools Collaborate with on-site SLPs to manage caseloads and therapy plans Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and implement interventions Maintain timely records and participate in IEP meetings as needed Communicate progress and strategies to families and educational staff Commit to a consistent weekly schedule: three days per week, 8:44 AM to 3:40 PM Ensure compliance with all district and state requirements
