Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2026/2027 school year in Petersburg, MI. This contract position involves serving approximately 50 students on caseload, providing speech and language support within a school setting.
Key Qualifications:
Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), including CCC or CFY credentials Experience working in schools preferred Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices Ability to manage a caseload of around 50 students Flexibility to work full-time or part-time hours
Location:
Petersburg, Michigan school environment
Responsibilities:
Assess and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Collaborate with educators and other professionals to support student progress Utilize AAC devices effectively to enhance communication for students who require them Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies
