Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year in Redford, MI, supporting an elementary caseload of approximately 25 students within an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) setting. This onsite position plays a critical role in delivering specialized speech and language services tailored to young learners in a dynamic school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualized and group speech-language therapy services to students with ASD. Develop and implement therapy plans based on comprehensive assessments. Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress. Document student performance and progress according to state and district guidelines. Participate in meetings such as Individualized Education Plan (IEP) reviews and team planning sessions.
Qualifications:
Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license. Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology. Prior experience working in educational settings, preferably with elementary-aged students. Familiarity with ASD-specific communication strategies and interventions. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload of approximately 25 students.
