Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an impactful position supporting students from preschool through 12th grade for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This is a full-time contract opportunity working 35 hours per week, beginning in late August and concluding in early June. Located conveniently near Saint Helen, MI, you'll work closely with a diverse caseload of 50 students, helping them access the communication skills they need to grow and succeed in the classroom and beyond.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) candidates encouraged to apply Previous experience or training working in a school-based setting is highly valued Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for students ages PreK through 12th grade Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress toward goals Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student needs within the classroom Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory and district requirements Provide support, resources, and guidance to families and classroom staff on speech and language development If you are committed to empowering students and making a meaningful difference in their academic journeys, this is the perfect opportunity.
